WHAT:
An intergenerational group of women
who choose to share life’s journey with each other.
WHEN:
We meet the 1st Saturday of every month from 9-11am
We may also be meeting other times during the month as we take turns
leading group activities.
WHY:
To get to know each other,
support each other,
cook sumptuous foods together,
explore spirituality, rituals,
move our bodies,
share favorite books, music, recipes,
go to the theater, a movie,
visit a hot tub, sauna,
swimming pool,
go for walks, build a fire,
make up stories,
walk a labyrinth
laugh,
create,
CELEBRATE!

How We Choose to
Be Together…
We, the members of the Affirming Women Group of the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church covenant together to conduct our meetings according to these principles:
All women are welcome:
We read this covenant at every meeting so all will know it.
Attend as you wish.
Share as you wish.
Support each other always.
Withhold advice.
Foster everyone’s safety while you remember risks are risks.
Eschew assumption and judgment.
If something here bothers you, bring it up now.
Speak for and about yourself.
Honor the discomfort or injury of others.
Respect confidentiality.
No current news, no politics.
We share the leadership of this group.
We plan to meet the first Saturday of every month from 9 to 11 am, but we may do more.
