Chemistry & Physics Modeling Workshop - Summer 2013


From July 29 to August 2 & August 5 to 9, 2013

The Modeling approach to chemistry instruction develops the model of the atom from Democritus's model through Rutherford’s. The Modeling approach to physics instruction develops a Newtonian model based on the description of motion and forces. Both the chemistry and physics workshops cover content from the first semester of high school. A detailed listing of workshop content is included in the Workshop Flyer link below. Workshop Features

  • Each discipline is limited to 12 participants/week, 6:1 student to instructor ratio.
  • Two intensive 40-hour (one week) sessions for each discipline.
