In 2021, the annual "breakfast" had to shift to an online format, but there were nonetheless deep and meaningful songs, speeches, and conversations around race in our communities, both big and small.
After an opening from the Rev. Lara Campbell, and a song from Samuel James Dewese, participants heard from Dean of Colby College Karlene Burrell-McRae about "Black rage" being part of the journey. After another song, participants were divided into small groups to reflect on what they'd heard.
