He received his Master of Divinity degree from Iliff School of Theology in 2017 and has spent the last three years serving First Unitarian Church of Albuquerque, first as their Ministerial Intern, and then as their Ministerial Resident. Dan and his wife Emily just welcomed their first child, Natalie, to the world on February 5. The last few weeks have been a crash course in learning how to be parents.

This is the 17th MLK Jr. Breakfast and Program. Our guest speaker was Kevin Wade Mitchell from Portsmouth, NH. Actor Kevin Wade Mitchell presented a performance of story, honoring the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Mitchell and performed excerpts from his original play, Black Mystory, not His-tory, in which he explores the life of a New England historical figure of color, whose story, history and music was nearly lost to time. Mitchell is a regional theater actor and historical interpreter.
