Fathers Day Reflections

This may look strange but we are posting a personally arranged song by our beautiful high school graduates who were honored in a bridging ceremony and gave us back an unexpected and memorable gift. They are Sophie and Jackie Allaire-MacDonald, Colliope Landgrebe playing guitar as well. This was sung during the Sunday Service ceremony and specially posted for those who missed the service this Sunday.

Religious Education: 200 Years of Change at First Parish

This was a service delivered by the RE Director, Emily C Jones, and the assistance of the Reverend Lara K-J Campbell. The homily explaining change for the past 200 years of change was presented by Emily. On a special note, this church was the first church to have a Sunday School in Maine 200 years ago.

Memorial Day in Words and Music

In remembrance for the fallen soldiers and their close ones, we respectfully honor this service with poems and chalice conversations, and music to help us reflect. The Reverend Lara K-J Campbell stayed silent but present  with laryngitis while volunteering congregants led.

A most welcomed return of the Reverend Lara K-J Campbell from her sabbatical leave. Her first service and sermon was based on her research to understand the life of slaves and the involvement of our UU Church as a haven for slaves in the 1700 and 1800's in Kennebunk, Maine.
